Fall of 2018 was a fun one! We had some success at the Cotton Stakes with Melinda Polk making the classic amateur and intermediate finals on her horse, Sunday Drive. Melinda finished top 10 in each class. It was Karrigan Cagley’s first time to show Tite Fittin Genes, where she won the novice one night and proceeded to make the classic amateur finals as well. Jessica Pierce and her horse, Hott Pockets, collected checks in the non-pro futurity as well as the intermediate futurity.

The Southern Futurity was that much sweeter. Bill Pierce and Hott Pockets finished third in the open futurity. Jessica and the mare finished third in the non-pro futurity and second in the limited. The mare ended up bringing home a pay day for $15,000! Melinda and her mare finished third in the classic amateur finals, while Karrigan and her mare were finalists in the classic unlimited amateur.

The last stop to end the aged event show season was Waco, Texas. Karrigan and Tite Fittin Genes were finalists again in the classic unlimited amateur. Bill and Hott Pockets were futurity open reserve champs, and the mare was non-pro futurity champion and limited champion with Jessica.

Thank you and congrats to all!
